Augsburg College maintains two networks of research-grade GPS receivers used to study the ionosphere and magnetosphere. Three receivers have been deployed at the PENGUIn AGO sites in Antarctica and six are being deployed at the MACCS sites in the Canadian arctic.

The Antarctic GPS data can be found at ftp://yspace.augsburg.edu/physics_data2/GPS_DATA/AGO/

These data are sample at two rates: "low_rate" data contain scintillation indices each minute and TEC every 15 seconds. "high_rate" data contain 1 Hz TEC and 50 Hz L1 range and phase samples. The FTP directory contains IDL code for reading the files.
